Welcome to the Resource Exchange Network for Eliminating Waste (RENEW). This tool is designed to help facilities worldwide exchange materials that would otherwise be disposed of. RENEW allows you to see materials available at a facility, or post your own materials. Facilities who post materials can avoid disposal costs, and possibly reduce their regulatory burden. Searching available materials helps you find materials for your facility at a reduced cost, often free.

HOW TO USE RENEW
LISTING A MATERIAL AVAILABLE/WANTED
Select create an account to get started, or select log in if you already have an account. Once logged in, select "Admin" then click "Add a new wanted or available material listing" and enter the material you have available or the material you are looking for. You will also have to include the quantity and location. Each material listing will be assigned a unique code number and will contain your contact information. This will allow for one-on-one contact - reducing the response time and eliminating a significant amount of paperwork for both you and RENEW.
RENEW SUCCESS STORIES
A chemical manufacturing plant transferred 18,000,000 pounds of heavy oil type by-product to a fuel blending distributor. They earned $1,000,000 for sale of the by-product which would have otherwise been disposed of.
A manufacturer of valve and pipe fittings sold 8,000 pounds of brass chips from machining and grinding operations. These chips generated $300 in revenue and the company avoided $6,000 in disposal costs.
